Georgetown DC Real Estate Market in the Spring of 2026

Georgetown DC

Properties sold in Georgetown during January - April of 2026

Of communities in DC, Georgetown is a favorite for those who enjoy living there and visiting, its historic charm, picturesque streets, walkability, upscale shopping, dining, and vibrant blend of culture, architecture and more.

I had the pleasure of attending the Georgetown House Tour Patrons' Party held at Prospect House and the Georgetown House Tour last month. I enjoyed walking through the community and touring the lovely properties (6 Homes and City Tavern). I love their Architectural design, landscaping, interior design and their stories.

Homes for sale in Georgetown include Single Family Homes, Condos, and Row Houses/Row Homes. What has been selling recently and what's on the market for sale? The Spring market is busy and Georgetown remains in high demand.

During the months of January - April of 2026, 51 properties sold in Georgetown, per Bright MLS. The number of properties sold was only 1 less than the number of properties sold in Georgetown during the same period of time in 2025. A number of Georgetown properties also sold off-market, however, properties sold through the MLS are the majority of the closed sales.
